Damon Morgan of Ace of Spades Contracting Ltd. was awarded the Silvicultural Excellence award, sponsored by the South Waikato Investment Fund Trust, at the Central North Island Wood Council (CNIWC) Awards 2024.

From new beginnings to the challenging times the industry face today Damon has emerged, developed, implemented, and grown into a true leader. Damon has a positive & energetic attitude that portrays the person he is both in the workplace, on the rugby field and in the community.
His ability to quickly adapt to the multitude of tasks that he is confronted with in the workplace makes him stand out from the rest. From being a hand on the tools guy, to being a trainer, an assessor, a fire fighter, crew leader is truly remarkable.
